Without argument or question, since 1987, our seminars have consistently had the highest percentage passing rate in the state of Georgia.  For individuals who have attended all five days of our seminars, our percentage passing rate (since 1987) is 85%!!!

What is included in the Course Fee

Top

The course fee includes one copy of the text Problems Workbook, Georgia Electrical Contractors Exam, Classes I & II, authored by Don Lundkovsky. Various handouts and sample tests, explanation handouts, and special problems are also included in your course fee.  The course fee does not, however, include a copy of the National Electrical Code, Ugly's Manual, or Business & Project Management for Contractors - Georgia Edition.

What do I have to bring?

Each participant will need to bring his own personal copy of the 2008 National Electrical Code, Circular E - IRS Publication 15, Ugly's electrical References (1999 or later edition), Business & Project Management for Contractors - Georgia Edition, calculator, and writing materials.  A 6-inch plastic ruler is also helpful.

Course Fee / Registration Info

The instruction fee for each weekend seminar is $325.00.  The instruction fee for the single Saturday or Sunday is $200.00.  The complete course consists of both weekends plus the single Saturday/Sunday for a total seminar cost of $850.00.  The materials used in the course, consisting of the course text, handouts, sample tests, etc, is included in the course fee. If you wish to attend the entire five day seminar, you must remit a payment ($400.00) at least ten days prior to the first weekend of the seminar.  The balance ($450.00) will be due the first Saturday of the first weekend class, If you wish to attend only a specific weekend or Saturday or Sunday, this will be done only if we have space available.  If you will be attending a single weekend only or a Saturday or Sunday only, the course fee does not include a copy of the course workbook. The course workbook will be an additional $60.00. Full payment for the select dates will be due ten days prior to the date(s) you wish to attend.  Payment required will be cash, certified check or money order.  Personal checks will not be accepted. Business checks will be accepted if drawn from a local Georgia bank.  Walk-ups the opening day of class are welcome if we have space available.  Cash, certified checks, or money orders will be the only form of payment allowed on the first day of class.  If you have any questions, please e-mail us at info@eetraininginc.com or phone 770.616.3739.  Make out all checks to Don Lundkovsky.

Refund Policy

Once the classes have started, there will be no refunds.  The classes normally start before you receive your notification of acceptance to take the exam from the State Board.  Please be aware of this! Refunds will only be granted if applied for at least 5 business days before the start of the seminar. You will be allowed to defer your classes to a later date, if you wish, once your payment has been received.  There will be a $75.00 processing fee charged for all refunds.

Weekend #1:

  • Review of basic math principals: fractions, percentages, Algebra I.

  • Single phase & three phase distribution systems.

  • D.C. circuits and principles

  • Code terminology and definitions

  • Grounding

  • Conductor ampacity and conductor overcurrent protection.  Detailed explanation of Table 310-16 of N.E.C.

  • Heavy emphasis on motors

Weekend #2:

  • Heavy emphasis on transformers

  • Heavy emphasis on electric welders

  • Various look up topics in N.E.C. including residential and commercial applications, swimming pools, etc.

  • Residential ranges, box fill, pull box calculations, lighting demand factors

Single Saturday or Sunday:

  • Total business review. Circular E and review of the text Business & Project Management for Contractors - GA. Edition.
